Biokil Crown 8mm Meshed Membrane Clear is a high-quality, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) cavity drainage membrane featuring an integrated mesh surface. This provides a secure mechanical key for direct plaster or render finishes. With an 8mm stud profile, it is suitable for internal waterproofing and damp-proofing applications above and below ground, including basements, vaults, and retaining walls. The clear construction enables substrate visibility during installation, ensuring accurate fixing and detailing.

Application Instructions

  3. Joint Sealing: Overlap the mesh and seal membrane joints with Sealing Tape or Overtape for a watertight finish.
  4. Apply Finish: Directly render, plaster, or apply lime mortar to the mesh surface as per manufacturer guidance.

Limitations

  • Not suitable for direct floor use — use compatible floor membranes for horizontal applications.
  • Protect from UV exposure before covering with finish.
